  6. Make sure that use products which are dye-free and perfume-free during the healing period of the piercing.
  7. Always keep your pillow covers clean in order to avoid the bacteria to infect the piercing.
  8. Follow a healthy lifestyle as it may speed up the healing process.
  9. Stay away from drugs and alcohol and eat balanced and healthy diet.
  10. Take zinc and vitamin B supplements as it helps in giving boost to the immune system helping in healing the pierced area as soon as possible.

Things to Avoid

  1. Avoid touching of the pierced area frequently with dirty hands.
  2. Rotate the jewelry gently in order to prevent the formation of crusts.
